Survival Kit for a (sort of) broken leg. Graphic novel adaptation from Neil Gaiman vol 1 "The Graveyard Book" by P. Craig Russell
Lolita by Nabokov was so controversial that only one press (Olympia Press) was willing to publish it in 1955. Putnam in the United States changed its mind in 1958, after the novel became a hit. Source:http://www.buzzfeed.com/erinlarosa/20-literary-facts-to-impress-your-friends-with#.usPPJL8gZ
"That was when I saw the Pendulum...up toward the most distant galaxies, lay the Only Fixed Point in the universe, eternally unmoving... The earth turns, but the point doesn´t.That´s how it is. Above her head was the only stable place in the cosmos, the only refuge from the damnation of the panta rei... their encounter with the One, the Ein-Sof, the Ineffable..." Umberto Eco
I do not own anything, I am just trying to make you read this book. No Copyright Intended.
ps: I visited the Deustches Museum in München. I look for it. The Pendel. I want to share it with you.
My Dad took this picture of my mother a few months ago. She is been visiting the library almost everyday. She likes to read and I guess I got it from her. She used to read me Jack London at night, and later on she made me an Isaac Asimov fan.
I am lucky to have her in my life.
